Taylor Martin, Seattle Washington

My name is Taylor and this is what I’ve been working on the last four months. I’d like to thank my friends, family, and girlfriend for accepting me going through this life changing experience. I put through lots of answers beginning with the words ‘sorry, I can’t’ and I changed a lot of my old habits, but it was all worth it in the end! I had let myself go for so long and got comfortable not being as active as I used to be. My weight pushed all the way to 206 and I saw some pictures and decided it was time for that change. Almost completely stopped playing basketball due to my weight. I found myself wearing sweatshirts more than anything to try and hide the weight..and if I ever wore t-shirts I was so uncomfortable I would suck in my gut all the time. I took a risk with an online trainer and gave my goal to cut down to 175, Edwin, and he was the most open and helpful person I’ve ever contacted about things like this because of his own story. I was never into lifting weights and never knew how to properly food prep and Edwin helped me get over all those problems. I passed my goal weight of 175 and dropped down to 164 for a weight loss of 42 pounds. I really never should have let myself get that way but he helped me stay determined day in and day out and I was able to reverse it better than I ever thought I would!
